HERO 694 has the highest tungsten content of all the cobalt based hardfacing alloys. This ensures excellent high temperature properties and hardness making it the logical choice for hardfacing turbine blade interlocking surfaces. HERO 694 is also uncommonly tough in applications where erosion, fine particle abrasion and cavitation are challenges.
