NICKEL BASED ROD

HERO’s nickel based line of hardfacing alloys are designed to withstand a wide range of difficult conditions involving high temperatures, corrosion, abrasion, galling and wear.

With low melting points and excellent deposition characteristics, our nickel based alloys provide smooth, even deposits with minimal base metal distortion and dilution, and offer a wide range of hardness.

HERO alloys will extend the service life of your new and restored worn parts—plungers, pulleys, cutter bars, mechanical couplings, engine valves, cam shafts, wear rings and pump stations—resulting in lower replacement and repair costs.

HERO nickel based alloys can be surface finished using mechanical or grinding methods.

Rods are available in diameters ranging from 1/8” (3.2mm) to 5/16” (8.0mm).
